Nice Turkey Gun

Turkey season for 2006 might be over, but I needed to share this photograph with my readers.

The stock of shotgun was handcrafted by a fellow hunter I met in Potter County this season. He used auto body putty to for the 3D effect of this Tom.

It almost looks too pretty to hunt with, but hunt with it he does.

I tried to convince him to take orders for custom work; maybe after some of you see this post and comment, he will change his mind.

Now, if only it would have worked as turkey attractor and we would have harvest that evasive gobbler this season.
