Cool Invention

This past Saturday was the early Trout Opening Day.

Some genius figured out how to attract more kids to this sport. He took two concepts, fishing and rockets, and melded them together into the coolest fishing rod I have ever seen.

The kids just reel the bobber in as far as possible, pump the rocket launcher, reel the line tight, and then press the fire button. The bobber (with the hook inside) explodes out of the launch tube thirty some feet, splashes down, and opens up, leaving the hook and bait to release from the warhead.

Kid then reels in, and does it again. And again. And again. Perfect kid invention. There may have even been an adult that tried it once or twice.

Best of all, the kids caught fish!
