As the deer herd declines, hunters will lose interest and do likewise. The decimation of pheasants is a prime example. And this is a long term problem. Youngsters now find more fulfilling methods to spend their time; they have no interest in hunting. Would it be appropriate to say the PGC cannot see the forest for the trees?? (No, deer have not killed them). Very sad.
