Potter County

Heading to Potter County this week to hunt spring gobblers and fly fish for trout.
Any readers out there familiar with Potter County? How about a little fishing advice?
Thanks in advance.

  1. Don’t know exactly where you will be – Potter County is big and has a lot of good trout streams. I have fished Kettle Creek above and below Cross Fork many times and that is nice water; mostly shallow, but some big holes and it is always well stocked. I know that Lyman Run and the Sinnemahoning are reputedly very good. There are others as well. Just select a stream near your camp. Your host will probably be able to make a better recommendation.
P.S. David and I may go to his camp in Tamarack Friday if the potential buyer wants to see it. Cross Fork is only 5 miles away. If you get over that way, call me on cell phone.
