Shooting for the Best

The Army rifle team is gunning to be the best in the NCAA.

What might floor some of you is that they aren’t already the best. Right now, they are ranked 3rd in the country. University of Alaska is the front runner…for now. The Army team is shooting to change that.

In the field, Army win hands down. As Bill Murray so aptly said in Stripes:

John: So we’re all dog-faces. We’re all very very different. But, there is one thing we all have in common. We were all stupid enough to enlist in the army. We’re mutants. There’s something wrong with us. Something very very wrong with us. Something seriously wrong with us. We’re soldiers. But, we’re American soldiers, and we’ve been kicken’ ass for 200 years.

The team at Alaska better watch out. These grunts are trained to shoot for real. We all owe a great debt to them and the rest of those who have or are serving our country.
