NATIONAL HUNTING AND FISHING DAY

It’s always the fourth Saturday in September: National Hunting and Fishing Day!
This year, the National Hunting and Fishing Day celebration will be held at Middle Creek.

HARRISBURG — Have you ever wanted to try outdoor recreational activities but never had the opportunity? Do you have an interest in the outdoors, wildlife, and conservation? If so, plan to visit the Pennsylvania Game Commission’s Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 25, to help celebrate National Hunting and Fishing Day.

Bass Pro Shops in Harrisburg is also celebrating the Day with these events:

National Hunting & Fishing Day is celebrated nationwide with sportsmen of all types. Celebration of this year’s National Hunting & Fishing Day at Bass Pro Shop in Harrisburg will coincide with our Boy Scouts Fair.

We are offering seminars and demos for adult sportsmen and women who visit the store on Saturday, September 24th also. Bring the whole family out to Bass Pro Shops to enjoy a day of fun outdoor skills activities with our knowledgeable associates and The Boy Scouts!
