If they had been using rod and reel, a couple of fisheries biologists from the Delaware Division of Fish & Wildlife would now hold the Pennsylvania state record for striped bass.

Electrofishing in Pennsylvania waters on the Delaware River, about a mile upriver from the Schuylkill River confluence, they captured a 54.8-pound, 48.6-inch striper on May 12.
