Fish Camp

The Cumberland Valley Trout Unlimited Chapter hosted its 11th Annual Rivers Conservation and Fly Fishing Youth Camp at the Allenberry Resort in Boiling Springs. Thirty-one young adults ages 14-17 participated. Although a “Fish Camp” atmosphere prevails, the curriculum is largely academic. Topics include stream entomology, riparian habitat, hydrology and geology, habitat improvement, fly tying, trout behavior, along with a host of other subjects.
