Shooting Ranges
I have had several inquiries seeking recommendations for shooting ranges throughout this great Commonwealth.
Recent requests: Bucks County and Lancaster County.
Please post your favorite ranges.
I shoot at Carlisle Fish & Game. They have a 300 yard rifle range, a pistol range, archery course, and several shotgun stations.
I believe there is a PGC range in Bucks Co., but not quite certain – perhaps around Nockimixin? Lancaster County: Try the Ephrata Sportsmens Club (inquire at The Sportsmens Shop); and I formerly belonged to Atglen Sportsmens Club for many years. It is right on the Lancaster-Chester Co. line, just west of Route 41. They have a 500 Meter rifle range (great benches), archery courses; black powder and shotgun. I dropped out when I moved from Chester County and do not know identities of those officials any longer.
