Snake Hunt

At a lost for what to do with the kids this weekend, try the Second Annual Cumberland Valley Hose Company’s Snake Hunt. This Saturday and Sunday at the Shippensburg Fairgrounds.

Forget the name, there will be other things there besides snakes.

A 3-D archery shoot, new this year, will begin at 8 a.m. both days and offer cash payouts of up to $300. Registration is required for that event. Also on tap are paintball games, a trout fishing pond, food and games. Bass Pro Shops’ King of Bucks, a traveling display of some of the largest deer ever bagged in the United States, will be on exhibit as well.
