Free Hunter Safety Course
Gander Mountain offers a free hunter-trapper safety course.
Any first-time Hunter or Trapper, Ages 11 & UP, must take and complete such a course before being eligible to purchase a Hunting or Fur taking license.
All courses are conducted by Certified Pennsylvania Game Commission Instructors and are open to the public FREE OF CHARGE.
Classes will be:
Thurday September 8th
6pm-9:30pmSaturday September 10th
9am-4:30pm* Classes will be held upstairs in Gander’s indoor archery lanes
* Class is limited to the first 80 students to Pre-register

My son Michael has a learning disability with reading and I was wondering if and where I could get a hunter safety book so we could read it together and study it. Michael will be 11 in March.

I would like to take a free hunter safety course. I am 14 years old and this will be my first time to go hunting and I need a safety course. I live in the delaware county area. IS there any couses starting soon in the summer or fall months.
I am 13 and I was wondering what will be expected of me to become a first time hunter. I really
want to hunt this year so if ther are any courses I must take, Please let me know if there are
any in June that are near Hazelton P.A.

Hi!!! I am Brandon. I just recently, finally talk my mom into letting me take the free hunter safety course. I am so excited, except one thing. Will there be any more courses this year. If so I live in Warren Pa.
